The original holster that came with my Viper alarm lasted about 6 months. It too was just made of cheap plastic. This replacement one, seemed even cheaper and lasted 2 days! The weakest parts are the two holes on each side that the metal pin goes through so it can open & close. That plastic clip is worthless as far as strength and durability goes.
