For $27, I got LESS than what I paid for. I hooked this in to replace a previously installed alarm system in my 79 custom van. It worked for a few minutes while testing the door and hood pins to be sure they tripped the alarm. It worked a few times, then it crapped out. All it does now is click like mad when I power it up, or turn on the ignition. I don't know if something internal with the programming is wrong, or if it is just defective. I pulled it out and boxed it.
