I have to say that I was skeptical about this remote since it was not the factory original. However, I was very pleasantly surprised with this very cool remote. First of all, the programming really was super easy and this was the part I was worried about because I am certainly no expert when it comes to cars. I became a believer in this remote when I actually programmed it alone in about 5 minutes. It actually would have been much faster (perhaps a couple of minutes) but I wasn't following the exact order of steps the first couple of tries. Anyway, like magic, the remote has been programmed to my car and been working perfectly since I started using it. I'm still amazed that this remote works so well considering it costs less than half of what the dealership remote costs- (dealership original remote= $125+ programming). Not only is it much less expensive, but the buttons are easier to push on this remote. Also, I love the fact that it's much smaller than the orignal remote and weighs about half of what the factory remote does. So, to sum up: Better design, much better price, and easy programming! What more could you ask for?
