Commando - RS-560 - Deluxe 3 Channel Car Alarm And Remote Car Starter Security System Review
This is our 2nd Commando Alarm/Remote Starter. As with the 1st, it works and does the job as stated and more. We installed one in our 1995 GMC van and now our 2011 Nissan Pathfinder. I only use the remote start feature on our Nissan. WE LOVE THE REMOTE especially the button design! We have bought other brands in the past but returned them. And we will not pay over $70. So this brand and features and performance is very satisfactory. If you have never installed one before then your up for a big project no matter what brand you buy; plan on a 2-3 day project. I have never bought an optional "T wire harnesses" but I recommend you do so to make the job 50% easier. As for remote start transponder issue I have never bought a universal anti theft transponder bypass unit but recommend you do so to make the job another 25% easier; we make our own out of just plane wire. The best choice is to try and find a professional to install everything.
