Scytek MP Siren True Sound MP3 Player Siren Review
Bought one of these to mate up with my car's existing ScyTek alarm system. The installation manual was cryptic as and as useful as single-ply toilet paper. I contacted ScyTek's tech support, and they were quite responsive, but the person I was talking to didn't speak English very well. After a few confusing emails, I called him and finally got installation instructions that were helpful. I followed them exactly, and the siren did not work at all. Tech support later told me that maybe it had malfunctioned, but was out of warranty (It took me over a year to get around to installing it after I bought it). I bought a second siren, and that one worked only partially with some sounds not working. I then gave up. This is a great concept but horribly executed. By the way, the software to program this thing doesn't work on Windows 7 unless you are quite savvy at getting legacy software to work on Windows 7. ScyTek, this product needs serious work.
