Just as described, it was very easy to install. This was really the only option that allowed not only a hook up of my wifes IPOD, but also a charge and song display as well. She has a 2006 Acura TL (no NAVI) and installing an aftermarket stereo system with IPOD support was WAY TOO expensive an option. So I did a little research and discovered this little option... THANKFULLY! This connector, along with another peice of hardware totalled under a $100. I was able to do it myself, although if you buy the components at Amazon and take them to your local installer you will save a ton of money (as opposed to having the installer price gouge you for the parts!!)...I was very happy with the shopping experience, as always with Amazon supported dealers. It worked GREAT! It was easy to install. I simply could not be happier!!
