Python 7642P FGI NAC SST One Way TX Micrel Companion Remote Review
To start the seller does not ship to overseas address for military FPO/APO customers. I had to have it delivered to a stateside address and pay additional shipping cost to have it mailed to my FPO address. When it did arrive, the remote did not work. I had to change the generic brand battery to finally get it programmed to my car alarm. Once programmed, the remote will work with the Python 990 car alarm remote start system. The problem is this remote in particular is very hard on the CR2032 watch battery. These batteries are very hard to find in the area I happen to be in. I purchased some 5 pack energizer batteries and hope they will last a while. At the rate this remote goes through batteries (about 1 a week) the cost of ownership is not worth the purchase. If I could return this item, I would definitely do it. The original 990 remote is hard on batteries, but I can go at least a month or so without having to change the AA battery. AA batteries are a lot easier to find and you can buy in bulk too.
