We were told by the Toyota dealer's service dept. (apologetically) that the key would run us about $285, then we'd need to pay for programming on top of it. When I saw this online, I called the service dept. back. He said to get it, bring it in--they would cut it for free, then charge about $85 (I believe...) for programming. This was definitely the way to go. It works perfectly.
