The remote works as expected and the DIY programming is very easy. I had to go through the programming step twice because i didn't realize that you must add ALL remotes when you enter programming mode (after adding only the new remote, the old one did not work - fixed easily enough).In summary: you can't just add a new remote, you must set-up/add all remotes after entering programming mode.
Save yourself some money and do it yourself!
